This was a replacement for another larger Titan (more expensive) that had its internal spring pop out! Repair not possible without suitable spring device. As with many products, manufacturers save when they can. After all, they need to keep their profits without a price increase that kills the purchase. I bought them because of the promised durability in strong winds and rain. But the name Totes does not live up to its former reputation. While I appreciate the free ($5) replacement, it's just not worth the hassle. Especially since I live in Ethiopia and have to wait until I'm back home to organize a replacement. I cry more, expect more. However, this isn't the first replacement of the Totes umbrella that's less than 2 months old. I've given them a chance, but they rely on the name, not consistent honesty, to sell the product.
