I purchased this RAM X-Grip phone mount to record in-vehicle video with the iPhone X during autocross and track days. This review is about the performance of the product in this specific case context. Here are the facts Pros - The suction cup is perfect, very strong - The X's grip is pretty strong, the phone doesn't fall off the stand Negatives - You have to attach the phone all the way for the pads to reach Don't press the volume and power buttons off buttons. This renders the recorded video unusable. The output is not intended for recording videos.
