Usually in such a part there should be a way to isolate it.

(husband writes this) VERY impressed with this kit. They worked meticulously not only with the instructions which were clear and meticulous but also with the fit and finish. Usually in such a part there should be a way to isolate the inside from moisture and vibration. I had a dual-use bike that had its brain and ignition system filled with resin to do just that. You can find the same here. Cable ties are ideal for securing a wire harness to an existing wire harness. Can he use more of this? may be. But what a homeowner without them! The small sticker that goes on the fuse box AND the fuse is an example of the attention to detail I look for in a product. I highly recommend that you purchase a fairing removal kit somewhere like Harbor Freight. It shouldn't be expensive. Simply efficient. TAKE YOUR TIME. There are some plastic covers that can be reused if you are careful when removing them. You can't get to it with tools, you just have to constantly apply pressure and take your time. I ended up mounting the module directly to the wiring harness using double-sided tape. The wiring harness is flat so it can be routed through the tailgate. YES, you covered the ribbon cable in the door. When not in use, the plug is stowed in the tire changing tool compartment on the left. For those of you who have used a fixed attachment point outside the vehicle in the past, this will be a bit unusual. I only use the trailer for garbage hauling (about every 2 weeks) and occasional transfers or bikes. Relax, take your time and enjoy the results!
