Just installed today and so far so good. Only small clips were used, took less than 2 minutes to install. It is implemented that you can adjust the brightness by holding or touching your finger on the touch switch to turn it on and off. They are very bright and I have chosen not to crop them for extra light. They were a nice addition to the small sewing jobs I did after installation. I was afraid that the cable would interfere, but so far there have been no problems with it. Overall very pleased ETA understood that I installed them backwards with a cord coming out from the end of my machine behind the needle! Since I only used clips for the installation, they were easy to remove and tighten correctly. I've made a lot more since my original review and I still love them! 2nd update - I use them conscientiously every time I sew, so daily. I can't even imagine not having her right now. My eyes get a lot less strain and I already had a good sewing light to work with. If you're on the fence, take them, you won't regret it!
