All the colors in my box were well moistened, nothing dried out and you have to be careful that the caps are put on correctly and firmly. I painted it on the back of a denim jacket and it turned out pretty nice. Colors definitely don't always go well with caps. What looks very bright is actually quite dark. Some of the colors were very nice and some were too muted. However, they might not be as muted on another surface. The end of the design in my photo is actually very dark purple and very dark blue, but in the photo they look black and unfortunately the yellow is very muted. Not bad but I think next time I'll use fabric paint.
