I like this transmitter. I've had two others that I bought at the recommendation of people here (iRiver AFT 100 and Belkin TuneCast II), but this one wins by a wide margin. It's thin and doesn't take up much space in my car. The audio when using the Monster cable transmitter was very crisp and clear. If you copied your mp3 file in high quality, the sound will be pretty close to that of a CD. I was very surprised to see that it had enough power to cover live stations (with some noise depending on how close you are to the source). I also like the fact that I can preset three stations and just press one button to go to them. I live in Chicago and have my station tuned to 90.3, 90.5 and 90.7 (the station callsigns show up on my front panel at the end of the day, but when I press the button to play a song on my player , it plays and redefines the talk show). and my car radio is also tuned to these stations. The only downside to this product is that it doesn't charge the player while in use, but I knew that when I bought it. My husband is an electrical engineer and uses Monster cables (I believe they are known for making high quality audio cables) so modifications to that may not be made. I'll stick with this channel until something better comes along.
