Terrible design, cannot be used in a kitchen/countertop without firmly attaching it to a surface or the machine would be unstable, move and/or tip over when removed. POOH. The size is fine for a beginner or hobbyist making no more than a gallon or so. After that, it's frustrating due to instability, low capacity, and the fact that you feel like you've put some DIY into a farm day. If you're not a guy set up a workshop to make your tinctures (< to assemble the thing), there's someone who can help and/or can do little.
