I bought this with the intention of using it as a couch blanket. It is very warm, especially when layered, yet breathable and is quite soft on both sides even after multiple washes (blue side is just as vivid a shade of blue as the day I bought it too). Was a little surprised by how small it is though. I'm 5'0 and it BARELY covers me. Certainly wouldn't be suitable for someone who's much taller than that unless they just want their lap covered. Would say it's fine for shorter people or teens, but you will be very disappointed by the coverage if you're, for example, 6'0".I'd buy it again in a heartbeat for an older child, teen, favorite short person, or as a pet blanket for my dogs, as the quality is superb for the price & it washes very well, but as for your standard sized adult it is definitely on the small side.
