I bought two of these to patch holes in heavy front doors made in hollow interior doors. They work well, but be prepared for two minor issues: (1) the protective backing on the seven adhesive pads is difficult to remove; Sometimes the adhesive comes off with the backing, so bring double-sided tape with you. (2) Adhesive pads are at least 1/16 inch thick so you can see the gap between the screen and the surface to be protected.
