Review on Snapper 82V MAX PowerGrip Cordless Leaf Blower 700CFM 4.0 Battery Rapid Charger by Geoff Yates

Received this blower last week. Used it for the first time today after fully charging the 2 amp-hour battery.It has good blowing power at the maximum trigger setting - similar to my cheap old Poulan gas powered blower. But watch out! It'll pull the battery charge down in a hurry at full power! Kind of like driving a muscle car on the highway and flooring the go pedal: You actually watch the fuel gauge move towards E.At lower speeds, it sips the battery charge. So that's where you want to do most of your work. Save full power for when you really need it to move something along. The "cruise" control works fairly good, but is easily bumped when using the tool with your right hand. The left - not so much of a problem.As others have mentioned, this thing is tail-heavy. I plan to add a small weight right at the nozzle exit to see if I can achieve a better balance with minimal weight addition.This is my first "large" battery-powered lawn tool. I was hoping for longer run times at the maximum speed setting, but it looks like we'll have to wait a while until the technology advances. The cost is also a mental hurdle for cheap guys like me. It has me rethinking the viability whole electric car thing (something I have no experience with as of yet). But I think I do understand the range anxiety now.
