We recently replaced a carpet in our basement lounge which has some very heavy furniture. Without Superslider this would be very difficult to master. We were even able to easily switch from carpet to vinyl tile. We followed the directions and made sure the vinyl floor area was clean and free of any grit that could damage the floor. Our carpet installer tried to do us a favor and slide a piece of furniture with pieces of carpet over the vinyl, thinking the glides would ruin the floor, and actually broke the furniture trying. We fixed it and just moved it with the sliders. To give you an idea of how well they work, I filled Lane's sturdy chest with books. It can't be moved without sliders or removing the books, but with them I can move them over carpet and vinyl on my own.
