Review on 💦 Sumnacon™ G1/2" Full Brass Shower Head Flow Control and Shut OFF Valve: Enhance Your Shower Experience with Precise Water Flow Management by Tom Bennett

It really works! suitable for valves

Most of the different shower valves drip – really big. No, don't drip, walk slowly. Dribbling. Not this valve. Not a drop drips. Nada. I have a nice smooth light finish and a simple industrial design. I mounted them on the hand shower shower hose in addition to the fixed shower head. The fixed shower head leaks when I use the normal rotary knob. Since I don't use the hand shower much, I didn't want it to drip. This Sumnacon valve gets the job done. It reduces the water flow to 0% and can be used to roughly adjust the flow if you find it necessary. A few words for your information: The settings are not the same. While the threads match, different jigs have different depths and often require fine tuning. Teflon tape may or may not be enough to stop leaks. You may need to add washers. Pipe sealant may be required. (I use it for behind-the-scenes stuff.) Some themes pop up almost all the time, sometimes you get a good match and they don't. This applies to all plumbing work. This reduces the amount of water and possibly the pressure. The arm entering the wall has an inside diameter of about 0.66 inch. Depending on your region, this is a high GPM. Anything between him and your body reduces this per minute. The maximum flow from the shower head should be 2 GPM. . Any valve you add will have a port of about 0.25 inch or less, reducing volume. The Sumnacon valve has two small openings that are closed by sliding baffles when the handle is actuated. I would estimate their total area to be less than 0.25 inches. This is a rough estimate. If your shower head is more restrictive, this valve will have no ill effects when fully open. It would be very helpful if manufacturers listed the maximum GPM for any attachment or device that attaches to the arm or bib like most do with showerheads.
