Review on GEDORE 36mm Single Open Ended Spanner (Model: 6576700 894) by Paul Wall

Let me start by saying this is my 3rd water pump replacement on the same 04 Trailblazer car (learn your lesson, don't skimp on the OEM water pump). First time renting tools from an auto parts store and although they worked it was a problem finding a store that had a decent set. Most of them are used and abused to the point where they barely work anymore. The second time it was a combination of buying and renting a tool. This time I had a water pump holder and wrench but I think they were cheap and disposable so order one of those sets that come with a holder and combo. The holder worked, but the 36mm wrench was more like a 37 and made out of what appeared to be aluminum and couldn't hold its shape. I returned it and got another set made by a different company and I had the same problem. After some searching I came across this key, but since there were only a few reviews I was a bit hesitant, but I thought what have you got to lose. I will say right away that this key is not just a holder, but simply a necessary thing to replace the water pump. It is durable and perfectly fits the fan clutch nut. The wrench is a bit short for the job, but the end is narrow so you can use the pipe as an extension, although to my surprise I didn't have to use it. I'm shocked that few people use this key. I don't usually leave reviews, but this wonderful tool made me have to. Buy, you will not be disappointed.
