This is an essential tool when servicing fork oil, changing springs or repairing fork seals on your bike. I cannot express my relief at how much this tool has made my life easier recently. I replaced the fork springs on my 2007 Sportster XL1200L with heavy duty progressive springs and changed the fork oil. I found the reassembly much more difficult than the DIS reassembly, especially as the new springs were much stronger than the OEM springs and difficult to fully compress. I fumbled for over an hour, compressing the last 2 or 3mm of the springs to seat the fork nut and engage the threads so it could be screwed in. Vain. I just couldn't turn the fork cap nut that holds the last little compression. The sockets slipped and almost scratched my precious chrome. Wrenches of all configurations: the same, only worse. So I bought this little gem after seeing a video on www.fixmyhog.com of them using it. He arrived two days later. I reassembled the forks thirty seconds after opening the packaging. Literally.
