Review on 🎙️ Top-Performing Noise Canceling Power Mic for CB/Ham Radio: Astatic RD104E-4B Road Devil (302-10036) by Carlos Reyes

I live in San Jose, California and have had reports from other SSB stations in the Midwest and East Coast that the mic is clear and the modulation is good... NOT great, but good. Reports also indicate that the mic sounds shrill or tinny - it's no CR577, but it will do the job. In terms of build quality, the mic feels solid, with no rattling when shaking the mic and no creaking when the mic is turned on. For reference, my station includes the following: Galaxy DX959 SSB, Uniden Bearcat 980SSB, Realistic TRC465 SSB - all three radios have been professionally tuned for unamplified transmit and receive. My antenna is a simple 11 meter vertical dipole about 30 feet off the ground. I also have two other powerful microphones, RF Limited CR577 and Cobra HighGear HG-M75. I would recommend this mic to anyone who isn't overly concerned with sound quality (very little mids/tones) and needs an inexpensive, high-performing mic.
