These hooks really work

I've been looking for ways to store our new kayaks. Many people prefer to install a hoist and pull them up. We have a 2 car garage and it can only park one car so I wasn't worried about lack of space and decided to use hooks to store them on the wall. There are several hooks on the market at a much higher price. I chose this one. They arrived on time and I mounted them on the wall. The wall of our garage is made of cement blocks, so you will need a masonry drill to drill the holes. They come with screws and a plastic part that fits in the hole to hold the screws in place. It took about an hour to install all four hooks, primarily due to drilling time. The hooks are strong and perfect for our kayaks. As you can see from the photo, they hold the kayaks firmly against the wall - they don't fall or tip over. Our Tamarak Lifetime kayaks are 10 feet long, 30 inches wide and approximately 11 inches thick.
