This item was not used in my garage but was used on a camping trailer. With 48lb 12ft kayaks and a bumpy road, this product exceeded my expectations. It will work great in any garage.

Not very strong. I used 3 packs out of 4 to assemble my kayak and the metal posts are bulging out of the wall. To update. Yesterday I removed the kayak (I have to say I was tired) and the bars succumbed. Do not buy if your kayak weighs less than 75 pounds.

I actually bought these for my 10' x 30' tent poles. I just mounted them on the wall of my garage and put 10 foot poles over them. Eliminates the hassle of disassembling and reassembling for the next party. Very durable and large width.

I love kayak holders. I would recommend them. One of my kayaks is a tandem kayak, which is slightly heavier (18 feet long) than a single kayak. I hammered the pipe into the mounting holes so the screws would go deeper into the wall. Holds my kayaks very well.

I am extremely dissatisfied with this product, they lift easily but when you hang a kayak on them they don't bend and deform happily at all. I don't see them holding up to repeated use. At the moment I feel a big mistake. Give them a good shake, but one is already bending, and he's just hung up the bat for the first time.

We were looking for a simple, low-tech solution that would be both durable and space-saving. Also, we have a fairly high ceiling in the garage, so we didn't want to hang the boats from the ceiling. Bought my first 4 pack a few months ago to hang my 2 14ft kayaks on the fence and they are still hanging with no problems. After that I bought 4 more packs to hang my rowing boards. You are doing a great job. The screws they send are for hanging items on drywall and since I was hanging from a fence post I used my own 3" screws.

Although the frames will support our 9ft LLBean kayaks they are not very strong. I first mounted them directly into the studs in our garage with the included screws. The screws are cheap and unfortunately easy to remove. Pipe hangers are completely round so they cannot be mounted flush to the pole or wall you have. This is a design flaw because because they're round, they will flex and move or roll sideways against the wall if you put weight on them, no matter how hard you twist them. I don't…

I've been looking for ways to store our new kayaks. Many people prefer to install a hoist and pull them up. We have a 2 car garage and it can only park one car so I wasn't worried about lack of space and decided to use hooks to store them on the wall.
