I don't have a washer/dryer in my apartment and this has solved most of my problems. I'm 5ft 2in, generally my dresses are small and I can wear about 2 dresses. , 2 t-shirts, 5 panties and 2 bras in comfort without overloading the powerful washing machine. The machine is touch sensitive, so simply touch the button once to turn on the power and a second time to start the wash cycle. During the cycle it works for about 15 minutes and it sounds like a remote control toy car. After washing you can drain the water by removing the small plug. I thought about a month and so far there is no sign of deterioration , very satisfied with my purchase.
