🐎 Cashel Crusader Long Nose Horse Fly Mask for Optimal Protection Review

I have been buying these masks for more than 3 years for my horse who is attacked by flies. I've tried several others, but Cashel's long nose is the best defense I've found. It can't protect them 100% if they go any deeper, but it will protect most of their face from those pesky critters.

I have been using this Cashel fly mask for many years now. My color mare has a white muzzle and a muzzle that burns and scabs easily. This mask is soft, comfortable, easy to clean and will last for several seasons. It does the trick and she's never had a problem wearing it. I highly recommend it.

I love these fly masks. The long nose goes to the three points of the nurse to close completely from the sun. Fits great and feels soft and comfortable. I've been these regularly and they're fantastically good. A mask is enough for me for about 2-3 years. Velcro is very durable. Definitely recommend this product!

Love the full nose and coverage. I thought I bought the one with the full nose AND the full ears but didn't realize the ears weren't covered. Well it's still a good buy and mask. I had another one and got through this season with a small tear. I think they have a lifetime guarantee too! So I can most likely return another one with a small tear.

This mask was still in great condition after daily use in forest pastures in spring and in barns/stalls in summer and autumn. My pink-nosed, pink-eyed mare needed it during the day to avoid severe sunburn. She never dropped her mask, but sometimes she managed to pull her nose up and it stayed that way until someone found her and corrected it. There were no problems with chafing or sores. Bought a few more this year.

I bought this fly mask about a month ago to protect my pink nose from sunburn. So far it has been a very satisfactory purchase. Conclusion: a bit too long for my very medium-sized horse. Although quite good. After about three months, the mesh began to separate from the nasal seam, but she wears it 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, except when traveling. Grazing about half that time. So much wear and tear.
