This works great, but I had some problems initially. My final abrasive grit is 10,000 and at first my sling loaded with this mixture left large scratches on the edge, leading me to believe this mixture was a smaller grit than advertised. The problem however was the way I loaded the sling, now it removes the scratch pattern with 10k grit. I will try to explain how to load the sling. First it needs several hours, preferably overnight, to dry. When I first loaded the sling I used a few drops and a plastic spatula to coat the surface of the sling and then left it in place. It did not work. Now I apply a few drops and rub them in with my fingertip, if they absorb immediately I add a little more until the surface is saturated (a little more, maybe 4-5 drops total) and then continue rubbing with the Fingers until you get a smooth finish with an even shine. Then I let it dry overnight. This sounds a lot harder than it really is, just make sure you work your way up and down the fiber of the line and make sure the mixture itself is thoroughly mixed (there aren't any big shiny flakes in the mixture and stains on the strap where it is thicker). or thinner than any other patch). Now it's great leaving a scratched edge that's very hard to see even with a magnifying glass and it seems to blend into the phone book paper it cuts it so cleanly.
