I can see that others have had good experiences with it, but I haven't. I studied it first, compared it to the broken one I had and immediately noticed that it was a lot cheaper than the original. The button and spring felt looser and cheaper, as did the vinyl. But that was to be expected in the aftermarket and I was willing to ignore it because I needed it now. We're also talking about a 14-year-old car, so I was ready for a deal. But it's not even suitable for tapping with a rubber mallet or trying to attach it to a car in gear. So I'll pay about $10 or so to get it at the dealer tomorrow. Even if this part would fit, I think it's only about $25 when I can get a factory OEM part for $45 (and it's cheaper to find online, including Revain, which is even cheaper than this one (but not suitable for Prime),.
