My betta snapped its fins on driftwood I had in my aquarium (I've since removed them). He was very lethargic and I was afraid he wouldn't survive so I went online to see what I could do. The combination of this substance and aquarium salt helped him fully recover. It's in 5 gallons, and sometimes it's hard to tell how much to add because of that. This product says you can add more when trying to help damaged fins, saving you some worries. via an overdose of the reservoir. Please note that this is not a water conditioner, you need to add it separately. I plan to continue using this product for weekly aquarium maintenance.
