Review on Tru Tech TS147T Coolant Temperature Sender by Elvis Bragg
Terrible product description but it worked in the end.
This sensor was tested on my 1986 Chevy Celebrity 2.8 V6 engine. I decided to take a risk and try to solve the problem. Got the motor very hot and measured the sensor temp with my multimeter (with temp gauge) and I got readings of >200 Fahrenheit when the fan was turned on. Which isn't so bad. The descriptions for this product are awful with no specs (including the temperature at which the fan should turn on the fan, well!). Everything worked out fine in the end and the price was great. .
