I was hesitant to buy the chair online and didn't get a chance to try it on before buying. I just wanted a simple mesh chair with a very nice padded seat that didn't cost a fortune. When I go to Staples and Office Depot/Max, the seat padding is flimsy and firm after sitting for over a minute, even on the expensive options. There are many leather options but currently they are only made from cheap bonded leather in the price range that will crack/peel within a year. Was there, never again. Thankfully, this chair has excellent seat and back padding; very soft like a car seat. It looks like it will last at least 5 years. There are good adjustments for seat tilt, backrest tilt and seat height adjustment, as well as adjustable armrests. If I had one complaint it was that the lower back arched inward, but I found this to be almost universal due to lumbar support requirements. An adjustable lumbar support would have made this chair perfect, but it remains great so I'll still give it a 5.
