Did a great job fixing my trailer brake controller for a much cheaper price than going through a dealer. Replacing the brake controls was very easy, 2012 Chevrolet Silverado LT 3500. I simply unscrewed the two Phillips head screws to release the dash at the bottom of the steering column, then use a screwdriver to pry the trim slightly, unplug the connector, bend the tabs, the hold the brake controller, push it out, insert a new one and secure it with the tabs, reinstall the connector, reinstall the panel. I started the car, the error disappeared, the brake controller boost worked as it should. I'm very satisfied with this product. It is not uncommon for Chevrolet factory brake controls to fail. This can easily be fixed by checking the trailer brakes fuses, wiring and connectors.
