Versatile and amazingly durable car mount

I needed a car mount that would hold my heavy iPhone XS and work in any car I get in. There is foam padding on the sides of the phone to give it extra support and the mount needs to be unclipped , before she releases the phone. The phone's chin rests on a piece of hard plastic little prying, so when I first got it I stretched my hand straight out (to mimic holding it to the windshield loo), put the phone down and shook it vigorously (on a soft surface in case the phone flew away). Everything was fine in the portrait, only in the landscape I got a bit of movement if I really shook it. I wanted to make sure I wasn't driving it my cellphone mic h not shot when I landed on uneven ground. I figured it would be safest to use it in portrait mode, but landscape mode would work too. The kit includes a sticker to stick on the dashboard to make it more secure in this configuration. I've only used it directly against the windshield, but the lever is adjustable enough to work either way. The only real requirement is to have something for the suction cup to hold on to. This means a clean, smooth, non-porous surface. You could even pin this thing to a table if you're inclined (the thought occurred to me when I first saw it). Automobile.
