Good concept, quality needs work

First of all it's such a cute design and overall I found it suited my needs well looking for a rechargeable switch that doesn't run on batteries and a rumble has function. lots of options that include rumble, but this one worked the same as motion controls, so after reading the reviews and seeing some pictures I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately the controller failed in the quality department - I would have enjoyed the product if it had worked well but have opted for a refund rather than a replacement as I am concerned about the longevity of the feature if mine works like this bad out of the box. -PROS: -Cute design for kids and adults who love Nintendo - Fits medium to smaller hands - Good weight, not too light where it feels cheap but not too heavy either. - No random rattling noises inside the controller, although the rumble and rumble is quite strong. - Battery life is good and fast For example, the cable is a generic USBC. The controller has a matte finish that makes it easy to grip. The keys are decently clicky, not soft like I prefer. Connecting was quick and easy. Cons: Pretty bad latency, I can notice almost a 1 second lag when playing some games worse than others, but in fighting games, Mario Kart and even Minecraft my own kids would complain if they had to use this, so it was it is noticeable even for them at the age of 5 and 7 years. Analog sticks are light years apart in terms of response and motion. The left joystick is very firm, with a strong spring during use, almost feels a little forced if you're not used to pushing the joystick that hard. The right joystick often gets stuck and causes the screen to stutter. - The packaging of the product was ehh - doesn't really matter but I would never buy this as a gift to anyone because the presentation is poor, it gives cheaper vibes of a "Chinese" product but for me it's so good for a third party manufacturer . I sometimes get in the way of the rear "custom display" buttons if I accidentally press them, but that's not too bad if you haven't mapped anything, but Forsure does notice. All in all I decided to return this controller after about 15 hours of play from several family members and we all wanted to like it but didn't like it for the reasons above. Even the little kids who liked the design ended up arguing about the plain red joycon controller not to use it. So in my case the product was noticeably inferior even for my young children but we are a very tech savvy family. Thanks for reading, I hope you found it useful!
