Works well just need to secure it

This material is water resistant, look at my photos of the water puddling, without leaking through. Also my video I pour water and you can see it repel off. Yes the wind will take it off like any loose cover for anything, it does have buckles to tie it down, I even tuck parts of the cover under the furniture to weigh it down. So far so good, but time will tell of the black material will fade over time with sun exposure, which I expect since the sun is so brutal. A negative for me is the drawstring, it is not strong enough and does not close it much.
