Squirrel cage bent and wouldn't spin

Got a scrubber, tried to turn it on but the fan froze and wouldn't spin. So I removed the cover and bent the fan blade towards the case body. I had to bend and straighten the fan blade to make it spin. I would like to know how this thing can be bent and sent like this. With all the covers on the product, there was no way the fan could bend like that. You would have to take everything off to get to the blades. Dissatisfied with the shipping method. If they had turned it on and tried to start it before it shipped, they would never have shipped it broken.
