As a lamp it is phenomenal as it performs all the functions the manufacturer claims - LIKE A LAMP! To be honest I expected to pay more. As for charging stations on THIS particular light, and I say THIS particular light, because I have two of them. The other works perfectly and was purchased about a week ahead of what was being considered. I find out that the charging stations are not working. When I put my phone on the dock next to the power button, the green light shows that it is charging according to the indicator. The display on the phone shows the same. If you leave the phone on that dock and come back to it much later, you'll find that it's actually DOWN. Even with the phone turned off and all tasks temporarily killed, the result is always the same. When you charge your phone via the built-in USB port, the charging LED on the phone and the lamp stays red, and the phone runs out of power regardless of whether the phone is on or off. The same applies to other devices used. With the other lamp everything works as it should. Unfortunately this lamp started failing almost a day AFTER the return date sooooo. I want to exchange it. However, I think it's a good buy but I just wish it would ALL work!
