Works fine with my Apple Mac book air.
Since the Mac book pro only has "two" plug ins, we previously used a similar device that only plugged into one of the two outlets. When we attached a scanner, it overwhelmed the single port and would not pick up the scanner. Now with the new "double plugin" the device works great and the scanner work as it should.
