Great for my ice maker
Purchased when ice maker is installed. We have very bad, hard water. I bought a household water softener to improve hardness and added this built in ice cube filter. Follow the instructions for flushing the filter prior to installation. Also, we did several ice making cycles and threw away the cubes. The first cubes still had a strange taste. But after 5 or 6 runs with ice, the filter gave us very tasty ice cubes. Easy installation and great on-site guide. Worth the money for great ice cream taste.
