Exact replacement for my car. It costs 1/2 of what they wanted for the redesigned device, plus the core. With that, you don't need to worry about the core charge, although I left the old block to rebuild. Inside the box was a reference document that indicated what speed the generator was running at. So far it's worked like a champ. High level steps for my 07 Maxima SE: remove battery, battery compartment, under cover, passenger wheel, cover behind wheel, upper/lower radiator hoses, oil cooler hoses, electric fan connectors, remove electric fan from radiator and finally remove the radiator. Next, loosen the pulley, remove the belt and fasten the generator with 2 bolts. Install in reverse order.
