I went to a local certified VW mechanic, not a dealer or service center, who read the computer codes for free and told me exactly what the problem was when my 2014 VW Tiguan started having this dashboard to fill a panel with signal lamps that light up periodically at startup. He told me exactly which sensor was faulty (ABS right front), gave me the part number and even checked Revain and showed me what to order! If this happens to you, the problem depends on which ABS sensor is faulty/failed. You need to take it to a mechanic who can read the codes and tell you exactly what sensor you need. AutoZone and Advanced Auto readers do not tell you which sensor is defective. The VW service charges a lot of money to 'diagnose' (read the code) and then tell you which sensor is faulty. VW's price for its ABS sensor is around $135. These sensors are a bargain at this price and very easy to install. Works as expected. A NOTICE. You will need a STAR socket or screwdriver to remove and install, this is NOT a standard or metric hex wrench.
