You can purchase a second base. Surprisingly, in the end, 2 bases turned out. I was very happy with it. This is a great small TV or computer monitor mount for my RV. My camper came with detachable monitor mounts but no pan and tilt. I removed the old mounts and replaced them with the ones in this kit and now I can tilt the monitor to my liking. ADVANTAGES: * After installation, the bracket is fixed with thumbscrews. * In travel mode you don't need to remove the monitor as others have stated, you place it in the travel position and tighten the thumbscrews. * Wide range of motion in all directions. * Pan and tilt * Metallic and durable * Suitable for a variety of VESA mounts. Includes adapters for different sizes * Comes with 2 base brackets for easy movement CONS: * The base bracket is metal so I'm not sure how long it will last if you mount it outside of your RV. * This is a slightly tight mount on the wall for travel mode. Not impracticable or impossible, but a bit tricky. It would be nice if there was an easier feature to lock and unlock driving mode.
