Review on PEX End Cap Plumbing Fitting - SharkBite U514LFA, 1/2 inch, Push-to-Connect, Copper, CPVC, Brass by Kaushik Inlawker

This SharkBite is a really good thing. I am 75 years old and in need.

This SharkBite is really good stuff. I am 75 years old and had to plug a water pipe in my basement. To do this the traditional way, I had to struggle for minutes while sitting or kneeling, partially reclining, during the soldering process. Unimaginable suffering at my age, with almost exhausted abs. This one was just a no-brainer. Cut the tube, deburr, polish and break baby. Cool. We moved our kitchen elsewhere so I did all the plumbing with SharkBite parts. Not cheap but at my age but I don't care; I can't take money to my grave. The only problem is parsing temporary links. It's easy if you do it right after the temporary installation. The real problem is when this happens a few weeks after the system is sealed. Also, I strongly recommend that the distance between the fittings is large enough so that you can hold the whistle very comfortably. Depends on the size of your hand. Some people argue that leaks are to be expected. You are wrong. I had no leaks (many connections). The main thing is that the cut on the pipe is really straight, and the burrs on the cut have been removed. .
