Review on 🚲 Catazer MTB Road HB-100: Efficient Hydraulic Disc Brake Calipers for Mountain Bikes, E-Bikes by Matthew Goyette

I've replaced the mediocre mechanical disc brakes on my cargo e-bike and it's definitely an improvement. Improved braking power and it is easier to avoid friction as both pads move and not just one pad like most mechanical disc brake calipers do. The only reason I gave these 4 stars and not 5 stars is because they are a "closed" system, not self centering like an "open" system caliper. Actually I would give them 4 1/2 stars if I could. I would rate them as follows: not as good as a fully hydraulic caliper or TRP HY/RD. About as good as TRP Spyre. Better than Avid BB-7. I've used all of these so I know what I'm talking about. In terms of cost, they knock all of the above calipers out of the water as they are so much cheaper. I would buy them again.
