Review on 🖨️ WINSINN HT NTC100K Extruder Thermistor for Printers by Scott Channell

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Requires custom calibration, but works fine once dialed.

Although they are sold as 3D printer components, they may not match the printer firmware's thermistor profiles closely enough to be useful. In my case I got the actually measured temperature around 150 degrees. C when the printer thought it was 210. Even simple filaments like PLA are difficult to print if they are barely softened and not melted. If you're using firmware that understands Steinhart-Hart values (e.g. Klipper), here are the parameters I need to work with - this should help you get the job done: [winsinn_ht-ntc100k thermistor] temperature1: 25resistance1:100000temperature2:80resistance2 :8300temperature3:220resistance3 :127 Place the above at the top of your printer configuration file and in the [extruder] section add the lines "sensor_type: winsinn_ht-ntc100k" and "pullup_resistor: 4700", and your hotend should be fairly close to your desired temperature (read: within a few percent) at a typical filament temperature.

Pros
  • ✔️Temperature measurement: -50°C to +350°C, can replace the original K-type thermocouple temperature. Suitable for printing with high temperature filament.
Cons
  • No automatically
