Fails after a few days or weeks

I fitted 2 of these switches (to control a 1.5v AA battery) and they both failed, one after 2 months the other after 5 days. I have one switch left, but I'll get rid of it and order another brand. It is cheaper to pay more for a quality switch the first time than to buy it after purchase.
