I have a desktop with an old but still technically up-to-date motherboard that I needed to add WiFi to. After reading about the various options, I decided that I wanted to add an Intel 9260 Wi-Fi card due to its superior performance over other options, including my original intended purchase, the TP Link Archer T6E, which the reviews cite Loved the 9260 After deciding on the 9260 I decided on this adapter, Fenvi, to convert the 9260 after asking here at Revain if it would be compatible with the Asus F2A85-m Pro motherboard ( btw, thanks guys for the replies!) which was. Finally I like tinkering with components and thought it would be fun to assemble the parts myself and since I would save some money doing it it seemed like a good idea to connect my desktop to our new hotspot TP Link. EAP245. Maybe it works, maybe not, but I'll never know. I've seen reviews mentioning the difficulty of attaching the antenna cables, but I never usually have such problems as I'm a very patient person, so I ignored those comments. Wow. I've been trying to connect the antenna cables for almost two hours now and they just won't connect. One of them will *almost* stick, but the slightest disturbance - even breathing - and it will immediately dislodge. As other comments have noted, if the manufacturer had made the plugs slightly larger, plugging them in would have been a lot easier. I wonder if size was the cost savings for Fenvi, in which case I wonder where else they did "enough" to make it barely work. It's a shame as I had such a positive impression of the company, but now I'll choose another manufacturer. By the way, the instructions they sent in the box, which are on the site, do not even show how to install the wifi card in the adapter. Both wires are black (one is usually white) so I'm actually not even sure which wire goes to which terminal, just had to guess. In other words, don't be a grin like me, spend a few bucks more to get a different manufacturer's card with an already connected/built-in Wi-Fi card, and save yourself both money and a headache . As a strong believer in the power of good customer service, I would happily change this rating if the manufacturer decides to help me figure out how to connect the cables. And I would like to share this information in a revised review, but for now I have to say that the buyer should be careful. **UPDATE** I honestly contacted Fenvi support through their website where they seem to go out of their way to help their customers. I received an email in response in which it was obvious that they didn't even bother to read what I wrote (and I even tried my best to be as polite and respectful as possible in my email be) telling me to download the drivers. I emailed them back and again was as patient, polite and professional as any person - I'm by nature a very calm, empathetic person who hates confrontation. I explained the problem again. Well, the weeks went by, I heard nothing back. So I came here to Revain and wrote this review hoping maybe I could get an answer from the manufacturer from here; even said more or less: "HEY, FENVI! Would you like to change this rating from one star to five stars? Please just answer my question!β And yet I still sit with no response, either via email or here at Revain. This lack of tracking means a total failure here. So I won't be buying their products anymore and I can't update this review yet to say that there was indeed a problem, but look how the company fixed it for me! Maybe we should look at all Fenvi stocks and buy them when they're around. I mean, if they can afford not to take care of their customers, they should be running a brisk business and making enough profit, and they really don't care if the loss of "xβ customers doesn't mean anything to do with the profit of the company.
