Like many other antennas, they are carefully packaged to reduce the size of the shipping carton. It comes with the required screws and wing nuts and slides/assembles as instructed. It looked like an antenna that could provide decent gain without the use of a preamp. The only hardware issue was that one of the two smaller wing nuts was not attached to the posts. I didn't want to cross. as the post worked fine with the other wing nut. After putting them back together and pointing them in the right direction, I couldn't pick up any of the channels that my previous antenna could pick up. We have about 25 from the city north of us. I double checked all connections up to the receiver and the antenna. Everything was good. I suspect the issue with the antenna balun was in that case. Since I had to find a working solution quickly, I sent the antenna back.
