Wanted to upgrade an old cheaper antenna. The old antenna received 72 channels, but lost the signal in bad weather. Very disappointing, the new antenna received 49 channels, many of which could not be seen. Both antennas are installed in the same place and point in the same direction. They're supposed to receive up to 200 miles, I'm 34 miles from the transmitting antennas and at least 20 miles at the highest point.

So few things, I've lived in the area for 11 years and there was a channel I could never find on a specific channel only 10 miles away due to its LOW signal. No matter where I moved (6 times in 11 years) or what type of antenna I installed, I could never get that channel. Like many other antennas, they are carefully packaged to reduce the size of the shipping carton. It comes with the required screws and wing nuts and slides/assembles as instructed. This antenna works great and I have yet to install it properly. After assembling it, which was very easy, I tested it by placing it on a bush next to my garage (see picture). So, at four feet, I set my Apex TV combo to auto-scan. 48 channels found! and I live in So. Brevard County, Florida, which is on the fringes of many TV stations.
