First of all, the product description refers to another antenna from the same manufacturer. This antenna does not have a built-in rotor or amplifier. I knew that before I bought the antenna. I wanted a VHF/UHF antenna to replace the UHF antenna I had. That fits the bill. This antenna has a two element log periodic VHF antenna located behind the Yagi with a corner reflector, a UHF antenna. I live in Mill Creek, Washington, and this antenna picks up all VHF and UHF stations in Seattle, as well as channel 13 (VHF) on Gold Mountain, with ease. Capturing channel 13 was the goal in purchasing this antenna and it achieved that goal! This antenna is installed in my attic along with a Winegard LNA-200 preamplifier and a Channel Master 600-2000MHz LTE filter. The gain specifications for this antenna are printed on the packaging: VHF: 8dB UHF: 12dB
