Adapter to connect newer Ipad Lightning jack to USB A to B cables and also USB A to C cables Adapter plugs into the iPad's light cable port, and the other side of the adapter into the USB-A cable port. I set up and recorded an old USB-B Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 and a brand new USB-C Presonus 26C. The adapter allows you to connect the Lightning charging cable to the adapter's Lightning jack and provide enough 5V power to power the USB-powered audio interface box. It worked great on the first try, the iPad recognized the devices immediately. A few other cable methods I tried didn't work, this one worked the first time.
