This amp boosts the sound and works great with headphones and mic

I bought this to use with my PS4 (Slim and Launch versions) but you NEED a USB extension cable, as it is too wide to fit on it. it is own. I use this with my Philips SHP9500m and VModa Boom Mic Pro. The sound from the PS4 controller was not loud enough for these headphones. This amplifier amplifies the sound and works great with headphones and a microphone. The sound quality sounds very good, I tested the amp on a Hi-Fi setup and for a $5 amp it sounds crystal clear. No pops, no cutouts, solid build quality (tried to take one apart to see the electronics inside and it was NOT easy to open even with tools.
