Once you know which grinding wheel grit you need the most, you can buy them in bulk and save money if you even want to buy a big brand. But a pack like this is great for filling in those little details you don't need for every project. For general woodworking, I rarely use anything larger than 120 or smaller than 320. So my toolbox is full of these grits, but sometimes a project comes along that needs something different and a set like this is just necessary. Ticket. These disks appear to be large. The holes fit my Dewalt grinder, they stick to the pad very well. The paper backing actually feels heavier than some of the big name brand discs I have. They are VERY well grain marked on the back - I've had other discs that you had to mark with a marker when you took them out of the box or you'll be guessing later. There are no problems with this. They are packed in two packs as shown in my photos. I think I could find/make a grinding wheel storage box, vertical with dividers, like a filing cabinet so I know I'm using more and can refill them one at a time. Great starter kit if you don't. You don't know exactly what you will use most often. Excellent variety, all sand needed in sufficient quantity. As far as I can tell they are not meant to be wet sanded, but there is no indication NOT to do so I can't say for sure if they can fall apart when wet sanded.
