Initially I just plugged the dongle into my laptop running windows 10, it found the device straight away. But when I paired with my headphones, they didn't show up. The help file said to show "all devices" but that wasn't one of the options. And I unplugged the Bluetooth headphones on my iPhone, so apparently that wasn't the problem. Then I tried to install the software that came with the dongle. This time there was an option to show "all devices" for pairing. I went to the iPhone, disconnected the headphones from the phone's Bluetooth and voila, they appeared on the computer. Then they connected without any problems. Music I was playing on my computer went into my headphones. Hooray! I could walk around the house without losing connection. And when I turned off the headphones, the sound returned to my computer speakers, just like I wanted. Although it took a few minutes to install, it now works great and I am very happy with my purchase.
