Review on Super Compact Trunk Bike Rack by Epickson Palma

I purchased this bike rack and when I unpacked it I thought it was just what I needed to transport two bikes from Northern California to Washington. I read the reviews for the metal clips and prepared white tape to cover them and protect the paint on my white car. The first leg of the journey only took 1 hour before we started the journey in earnest the next morning. I did notice a slight wobble when driving but the wind was strong and as this is my first time installing it on a car I figured I might need to tighten it more. So I figured there was nothing to worry about and will make adjustments when I get to my destination. When I arrived I found that the cause of the wobble was that one of the rubber pads used to stabilize it had fallen off and the metal tube on the floor had subsequently chewed the crap out of its paint on the back of my car. I'm returning it and have now invested in Thule. I want to make this choice for the first time. I'm just glad I have at least some touch up paint to protect the car from rusting as it is due to the primer in a few spots.
