Review on Pet Life Heathered Performance Two Toned Dogs better for Apparel & Accessories by Deborah Velarde

Probably works well for a well made dog.

I'm sure the product description says it's just a thin layer of Lycra-like material and not something more solid, so I want to mention that now in case someone else can't . don't blame the manufacturer. That's it. I bought this for an elderly dog who has arthritis on all four legs and broke a leg at the hip when he was little so he hardly bends at the moment and I wanted something comfortable. and it's easy to get in and out of work, like basically a leisure suit. She's pretty much skin and bones at this point, so I have to think she's cold. I can't believe how hard it is to find a lightweight sweatshirt or t-shirt that is easy to put on and take off. They all require the legs to be elevated and straightened. I was hoping for something like seat belts but with more material that can be pulled over the head and secured with velcro or something. This was the closest I could find to what I was looking for and of course as it has sleeves you still have to put your feet up. She's a hooligan mix, such a thick neck and chest with a thin waist. It pulls back when she moves and squeezes her neck a little, but I didn't leave it on her long enough to know if it really rubbed. I also had to cut off her hind legs because she just walked out of them and then tripped and it was hard enough for her to walk! so it doesn't get too hot.
