No animal welfare call needed, this trimmer tamed the wild beast and got me looking spring fit. The battery life is good enough to make a decent bunch of shag and then some. The trimmer's main blade held up to the thickest material I sprouted and got the job done quickly. All components are easily interchangeable, and the included pouch means I don't have to rummage through makeup drawers to find what I need. The full-size attachment was good for more sensitive areas. As soon as I finished using the ear and nose hair trimmer attachment, I could smell the flowers again and hear the birds chirping. The kit included a good set of combs for the jaw line.
